Weekend War Worries Keep Metals Firm
Friday October 3, 2025 - (Gold Market Wire) - Once again, no one is prepared to go into the weekend without protection from Gold and Silver. Such is the state of concern over imminent war between Israel and Iran.
Deployment of US military assets to the Middle East is confirming a tense posture, heightened by Iran's claims that if the US bombs Iran, it will actively enter a war against America.
The Metals, which have been hesitant during much of the week, are resuming an upward momentum. Silver's weekly chart does not, in any manner, comport with the increasing number of Metals market analysts who claim we are due for a pullback:

Seven uninterrupted weeks of higher Silver puts paid to the thoughts of a pullback. Yes, Gold has taken a break to catch its breath. But starting a sell-off? We don't see it.

There is no sign of a sell-off. And there is unlikely to be one, with all the talk of war these days. The Middle East, yet again, is getting ready to explode into conflict. Until there is a resolution to said conflict - the metals will stay elevated.
