May 15, 2024 - (Gold Market Wire) - No sooner do we pen our "Becalmed" missive, than Gold finally makes a move. A move on the back of Silver no less...which is how we like it.

Silver has poked its head above the parapet, so to speak, and now has dropped down. Another charge is likely, as the commodity complex, quite frankly is on fire.

At the same time, Gold also broke above the downtrend - and pulled back. Another challenge may come with the New York opening.

It's not often, but sometimes, the market truly foreshadows a move. This, we believe, is one of those times. A weekly settlement above our markers may be construed, properly, as the next leg of this bull market.

The monetary system is a mess...US borrowing is out of control. Confidence in government is about as low as it could possibly go, and Precious Metals are undervalued by comparison. Currency, as we know it is under threat. It the "money fails" as an instrument for exchange... we will be entering a new world... in which gold and silver may be one of the few refuges.
