March 4, 2022 - (Gold Market Wire) - The German DAX is now in free fall, having shattered the technical support levels. We are in the "waterfall", and it's getting ugly.

Money is charging out of Europe's main economy at an ever increasing rate. Ukraine and "Green" issues are causing capital to abandon German stocks at an increasing pace; and the result is all too evident in the chart above.

In these times, the best move is to cash... before the crash. But cash takes many forms, and right now, and the best one is Gold. Just look at how it has performed against the world's strongest currency - the much maligned US Dollar - and then, when set against the German equity market.

While the Dollar/Gold chart (above) is hardly the stuff of dreams, as always, the question becomes - 'as opposed to what'? If you've held Gold, the DAX is really off 30%, since the start of the year. Yes, relative value examples are cherry picking... but so are all markets when looked at from a particular angle. That doesn't make those angles any less valid...in fact, they are elucidating the state of (true) reality). This is one worth contemplating. The DAX is being routed...and especially so in Gold terms.

Does all of this mean that Gold's moment is approaching?
