February 9, 2024 - (Gold Market Wire) - As first months of the year go, it could be any duller. The range has been tight - the action listless. But we are starting to get so signs of life back in the metals arena. First up, Gold.

Ok, not much to cheer about, but the uptrend still holds. Month on month we still have higher lows, which is positive. We're looking to see if our downtrend can bettered with the close.

Slightly better news out of Silver. As regular readers here know - we see Silver as a leading indicator.

We're above last months low, which is positive, and our main uptrend is in tact. The 50/100 day moving average may cross soon. That's a positve development.

The markets are hesitant, but the downside is starting get exhausted.
