December 14, 2021 - (Gold Market Wire) - As Gold continues to slumber, we seek out more exciting vistas. Crude Oil is one of them.

We've had the rally and the big pullback - but are we now getting ready for the next stage higher. We consult the chart:

Its been choppy for a while now, but we're starting to see the first elements of a recovery taking shape. The 50-day moving average has only provided a moderate way to capture direction - but right now it's our first hurdle to clear.

Right now we're sandwiched between the two indicators, but we're running out of room. We still feel the trade should be from the long side, and we are willing to put a toe in the water.

...sure beats watching Gold do nothing all day - day after day. We are loathe to "look for action" in markets, but when one instrument completely flat lines, you have to move on.
