Gold Backs and Fills - Prepares to Charge Again

April 14, 2020 - (Gold Market Wire) - So far a fairly small back and fill for Gold. The market did look ready to make another gap higher, but probably needs to galvanize more energy before doing that. Although no one can predict every twist and turn in the market, the feeling this European a.m. is that the market will have to come down a bit before starting to charge again. Yesterday's performance was solid, and showed the room for upside. Now the challenge will be to pick a decent entry point.

a fairly steep uptrend..but intact nonetheless

The next target will be just above $1750, and it is likely that we will get there. We favour length on pullbacks... not chasing the market! If we get to the $1750 target, that is when the real struggle will start, but as it is right now, barring a complete stock market blow-out, which could take everything with it, including Gold, the Gold market looks like a good place to establish length.
